CONFIRMED: Abhishek & Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to star in Gulab Jamun!

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have been that Bollywood couple who have been loved both on-screen as well as off-screen. Their on-screen chemistry in the hit movie Guru was very much talked about.

Recently there were reports that Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were all set to reunite on the silver screen with the movie Gulab Jamun. Now in an interview with a leading daily Aishwarya Rai Bachchan confirmed that she and her husband are going to act together in the movie.

“AB [Abhishek] and I have agreed to do Gulab Jamun. I told AB that he needs to decide what he wants to do after Manmarziyan.” She also revealed that they were offered this story one and a half year ago. “We had agreed on the idea then. However, it was around the same time that AB decided to take a time-out. After the hiatus, he returned with Manmarziyan, which coincidentally is directed by Anurag Kashyap. That’s when the chatter around Gulab Jamun began again, and we finally came on board. It is a beautiful script, and we fit the narrative perfectly,”

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were seen together last in the movie Raavan in 2010 which was directed by Mani Ratnam.
