Begum Jaan to have a voice over by Big B!

Vidya Balan is back on the big screen with yet another power-packed in a film titled, ‘Begum Jaan’. And like her previous blockbuster ‘Kahaani’ this will too have Amitabh Bachchan’s voice in it.

Amitabh Bachchan is not going to sing in the film but will be playing the role of narrator where certain parts of the film will be narrated by him. ‘Begum Jaan’ brings to light the much talked-about, controversial partition between India and Pakistan. It will have Amitabh Bachchan narrating the backdrop of the partition happenings and how exactly the story of the film begins.

After listening to the narrative, Sr Bachchan was quite kicked about the film and he immediately decided to come on board. So much so that the makers wrapped up the recording with him in the second week of January.

Begum Jaan stars Vidya Balan in the lead along with Gauahar Khan, Pallavi Sharda, Ila Arun, Rajit Kapoor, Mishti, Vivek Mushram among others and is slated to release on 14^th April, 2017.
