Kangana Ranaut’s magnum opus Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, refuses to stay away from controversies. It was first alleged that the original director of this period drama Krish had quit the film midway due to Ranaut’s unending tantrums and interference, after which she stepped into his shoes. Sonu Sood quit the film stating he cannot work with two directors on one set. Now, another actor has decided to exit and she’s Swati Semwal, whom we all saw in last year’s Bareilly Ki Barfi.
In an interview, the actor stated, “I have quit the project. Earlier also I was not sure, I was in two minds, but a few days back, my team had a meeting and we decided to quit the project because I don’t think so at this point of time, this project is good for the career path that I am taking. After the meeting with the makers, I realized that it was not so significant anymore. It was not what we signed for when I signed the film, so we decided to part ways.”
The film’s teaser will be launched tomorrow in a grand way!
