Megastar Amitabh Bachchan says his latest film ‘Pink’, a courtroom drama, is getting incredible attention and immense praise.
The film, co-produced by Shoojit Sircar and directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, is a message-based drama on sexual crimes against women.
Amitabh, who plays a lawyer in the film, took to Twitter on Sunday to talk about the appreciation the film is receiving.
“#’Pink’ — the incredible attention it is getting is phenomenal… Attention plus immense praise. Immense love,” the Big B tweeted.
The word-of-mouth for ‘Pink’ has been fantastic, after a low opening day collection of 4.32 cr net(only India), the film had a massive jump on Saturday with the film collecting 7.65 cr on its second day, the film had further growth on Sunday with collections to the tune of 9.5 cr. In fact the film completely overshadowed its competition, Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Raaz Reboot’ over the weekend.
Apart from growing Box office collections, the film is also receiving critical acclaim and massive praise from the Industry as well as the public.
Released on September 16, the film also features Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Angad Bedi, Piyush Mishra and Dhritiman Chatterjee.
