The release and the subsequent success of the Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal-starrer Raazi has proven that if the content and performances in a film are strong, a film will be loved and appreciated to no ends, irrespective of the gender of its leading protagonist!
The spy thriller, which entered the prestigious 100-crore club yesterday after posting a score of 102.50 crores, is Bhatt Jr’s third film that has achieved this feat, and the first one that has her playing the titular character!
But, before you get down to reading what Alia had to say, check out Kangana Ranaut‘s reaction to the flick right here:
While reacting on the same, Bhatt shared, “The numbers show that the audience connected with the content in a big way. I feel a sense of validation and gratitude. But with success, comes responsibility too. With this, I feel I need to be more responsible in my choices henceforth,”
While talking about whether the commercial aspect is a parameter when she chooses her films, she added, “If I start taking these factors into account, it will affect my decision-making process when I am choosing a film. I have never thought about it in the past and I don’t expect to do it in the future.”
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal, who debuts into the 100-crore battalion with the Meghna Gulzar directorial, said, “To get a nod from the critics and audiences, and then to set the cash registers ringing is a special feeling. I’m grateful to Meghna and the producers for making me a part of such a beautiful film.”
On the work front, while Bhatt will be next seen in Gully Boy and then Brahmastra and Kalank soon after, Vicky Kaushal is presumably awaiting the release of his upcoming Netflix film, Lust Stories.
