After the recent Uri attacks, the relationship between India and Pakistan has become rough and unwelcoming. The havoc also resulted in the boycotting of Pakistani artistes in India. This led to the deep-seated crowd, the laymen of the country to protest against the release of SRK’s starrer ‘Dear Zindagi’ last year as it had a Pakistani actor cum musician Ali Zafar.
It seems that the actors from both the countries are hoping to have a better tomorrow and one among those artists is Ali Zafar.
In a recent interview Ali Zafar said “I feel that India and Pakistan have seen ups and downs over the years. But, we have somehow always managed to come back together. I feel there is more love than hatred between the people of the two countries. Inshallah, one day, we will have a peaceful co-existence again, where we’ll have a smooth exchange of art and culture between India and Pakistan.”
Presently, Ali Zafar has no Indian project lined up but he’s been focused more on domestic projects. Ali Zafar is all set and excited for his upcoming Pakistani movie for which he comments, “I have been engrossed with work here in Pakistan. My next feature film, ‘Teefa in Trouble’, is keeping me busy. It will go on floors by mid-February. It’s an action comedy. I am also working on the music of the movie.”
Stay tuned, the Pakistani Singer is back with his new album and will be performing in Dubai on February 9!
