Ali Zafar accused of sexual harassment by Pakistani singer Meesha Shafi

Just before we could collectively come out of the trauma of the eight-year old Asifa’s rape, another shocking instance has come out that’s a clear indication of a girl’s safety being in jeopardy. Pakistani singer, Meesha Shafi, who also acted briefly in the 2013, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, has accused another Pakistani singer, who has also acted in a couple of Hindi films, Ali Zafar, of sexual harassment.

Just a few moments ago, she shared the horrific story on her Twitter timeline that has come out as a huge shock for her fans as well as the fans and admirers of Ali Zafar. Have a look:-

Recently, veteran actor Jeetendra was also accused of sexual harassment and now Ali Zafar. This is indeed an unfortunate and shockingly dismal time to be a woman in 2018. As we are trying to compete with the rest of the world technologically and economically, we continue to degrade in terms of humanity. Often silenced by those in power, women, particularly from the glamour industry, struggle to muster up the courage to come out in the open and fearlessly speak about their haunting trauma, but we must give out to the courage of Meesha Shafi to name the perpetrator. Now, we have to wait for the other side of the story, but this has truly come out as appalling.
