Just a few days ago, we had reported how Twinkle Khanna was criticized and threatened on social media for deciding to auction Akshay Kumar’s Navy uniform from Rustom. Although, Akshay Kumar hadn’t spoken about this unexpected controversy, the actor finally broke his silence on the raging issue quite recently.
While commenting on the same, the actor, in the presence of the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis, said that, “I support my wife on that matter. I and my wife are doing some work with good intention for a good cause. That was a costume that I used in the film. It is going for a good cause. I do not think we have done anything wrong. If anyone finds it wrong then it is okay. I cannot do anything on that.”
Akshay Kumar is a busy man these days, with multiple professional commitments. He would next be seen in Reema Kagti’s period drama, Gold, that narrates the tale of the first Olympic Gold Medal that India won as a free nation, which releases on the 15th of August, 2018. His next would be a period drama again, titled Kesari, which is scheduled for a Holi 2019 release.
If that isn’t enough for you all, he’s also doing Housefull 4, India’s first reincarnation comedy, which Khiladi Kumar is rumoured to star as a warrior.
