Anushka Sharma is all set to rule the silver screen with her upcoming film Zero. As we all know, the actress will be seen playing a very challenging role of a scientist, Aafia, who is suffering from cerebral palsy. She will be romancing Shah Rukh Khan in the film, which will be seen as a vertically challenged person.
Now as per the latest reports, the director of the film, Aanand L. Rai, believes that kids can relate to Anushka’s character in the film. Talking about it, a source was quoted saying to a daily, “Anand Rai, throughout the shoot, used to tell us on the sets that Anushka’s character will have a huge connect with kids. When he wrote the character, he had this in mind and he always called Aafia a very, very special character.”
The source further added, “Aafia is a very lovable person and she is smart, she is a genius and has her heart in the right place. Her full of life attitude despite her disabilities is a hugely positive angle in the film and the director always felt that it will be one of the strong emotional reasons why people, especially kids will love her character.”
