Aamir Khan is currently gearing up for his mega-budgeted Thugs Of Hindostan. Even though fans are excited to see what the film is all about, certain sections aren’t really pleased with the VFX. The opening shot of the trailer itself appeared to be right from an animated pirate film. Instead of blowing us away with its visual spectacle and thunderous special effects, most of the portions in the trailer seemed phoney to say the least. And this has become a concern for Aamir.
A source says, “Aamir is someone who keeps a hawk’s eye on audience reaction towards his films. He is a little worried with viewers criticizing the VFX used in the movie as can be seen in the trailer. He is now in talks with the team to see what best could be done to make sure the special effects in the final movie is up to the mark. He has conveyed the message subtly that VFX needs to be of superior quality.”
It continues, “It will be difficult to change everything wholly but there will be a few corrections here and there to make it look as best as possible since Diwali is still a month away.” We are exactly a month away from the film’s release and here’s hoping it turns out to be much more than just multiple montages of fake CGI and Green-Screen action.
