Given the wave of the MeToo Movement that has taken over India, particularly the Hindi Film industry, it seems Aamir Khan is planning to launch the fourth season of his show Satyamev Jayate with this very issue. The actor recently quit the late Gulshan Kumar’s biopic Mogul owing to the allegations of sexual harassment made against its director Subhash Kapoor.
The show is likely to air from January 2019. Talking about the same, a source said, “With several women opening up about sexual harassment at workplaces and otherwise, Aamir wants to throw light on their problems and the issue of their safety. He has told his team to start doing research on it. He will invite the #MeToo survivors to share their horrifying experiences. He will also get some of the alleged accused on the show to present their point of view.”
We must appreciate and admire Aamir for taking up such a disturbing and burning issue and also hope all the survivors and victims are served with Justice!
