We were amongst the first ones to tell you that Bollywood’s Greek God Hrithik Roshan will be doing his first ever sports film with producer Ronnie Screwvala and director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The film in question will be based on India’s national sport, Kabaddi.
And just about today, when we got to hear that Ashwini Iyer Tiwari of Bareilly Ki Barfi and Nil Battey Sannata fame will be directing and drafting the script of the same and the film will be produced by Fox Star Studios. Given the current news that has come in, one would assume that Screwvala and Fox Star will be co-producing the flick and the original director has been presumably been replaced by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari.
All this news was simply building our excitement for the flick until our Khabri Keeda dropped a bomb on us.
As per KK, Hrithik Roshan has WALKED out of the sports film, thus displaying his usual moody nature. And, as of now, Roshan Jr. wishes to only work on two films (Super 30 and the YRF film with Tiger Shroff) before going all out for Krrish 4. But, given that Hrithik has a tendency of walking in and out of films as if they mean NOTHING to him, one can’t be entirely sure of even his current line up either, right?
Dear Mr. Roshan, we sincerely want to ask you, WHY you can’t decide which films you want to do or not? Do you even care about your producers one bit?
While we wait for answers, be sure to stay tuned to this space for all the latest happenings in Bollywood!
