All of B-Town is aware about Harshvardhan Kapoor’s next. The film, which is titled Bhavesh Joshi, an an action story where our Mirzya star will essay the role of a vigilante fighting against corruption. The film is being produced by Phantom Films. For the role, Harshvardhan has moved into the house of his on-screen roommate. He also has plans of living along solely for his character. Guess he wants to get away from all the pampering that he must be getting from his superstar father Anil Kapoor, who quite frankly, even at the age of 60, looks like his son’s elder brother.
Compliments and Jokes aside. Here’s the real deal. Prior to the film being solely Phantom Films’ baby, Indian media giant Eros was also on board as Bhavesh Joshi’s co-producer.
But, somewhere at the last moment, rumours were rife that Eros decided to take a step back and made Bhavesh Joshi a solo show being run by Phantom Films.
While everyone were cooking up reasons for Eros to call it off. Blaming it on the script of the film not being convincing enough and Eros not having faith in Harshvardhan Kapoor.
But recently we got an official update from Eros now stating:
Eros International has denied all speculations about Bhavesh Joshi, starring Harshvardhan Kapoor and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane. In an official statement, the studio said, “The news is completely speculative in nature and we deny it. We confirm we are on board and committed to Bhavesh Joshi”.
