Race 3 to be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar?

The Race franchise has always been the creation of Abbas-Mastan and the director duo has done a decent job so far with the movies. Ramesh Taurani who is the producer of the series has been satisfied so far but wants to make sure that the third part of the franchise is a bigger hit than the rest.

The makers want a leading superstar to play the villain while Saif Ali Khan will continue to play the protagonist. They have approached Bollywood superstars, Shah Rukh and Salman Khan and are hoping for one of these mega-stars to accept the role. While SRK has refused to star in the movie, Salman too isn’t very keen on playing the antagonist.

The makers have now decided to do away with the director duo, Abbas-Mastan since they feel that they cannot pull the audiences to the cinema halls like they used to. The makers are looking for a flamboyant young director and our Khabri Keeda tells us that they have already approached ‘Sultan’ director, Ali Abbas Zafar. Now that will be a wise and bold move and we are sure that Ali Abbas will add his magic to the script.

Taurani now plans to re-approach Salman Khan once Ali Abbas Zafar accepts the offer. Will Salman Khan agree to play the baddie in ‘Race 3’ if his favourite director is in the project?
