Salman Khan was all set to treat his fans with the Race 3 trailer yesterday; however, it got postponed to next week. The makers stated it was because the film is yet to be distributed and some of the most well-known and illustrious distribution companies are vouching to buy the film. However, the real reason behind the postponement of the trailer now has been unveiled, courtesy our Khabri Keeda!
If sources are to be believed, it all happened because the makers failed to get the trailer approved from the Censor Board. According to the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) guidelines, any film trailer has to be certified by the board before it can be released in the cinema halls, and the Race 3 team didn’t adhere to the rules and regulations. The makers were keen to release the trailer digitally but simultaneously in the cinema halls as well, but now it seems they have to wait for a few more days to get the approval of the Censor Board.
Race 3 is expected to have some never-seen-before action and some eye-watering locales. Although, director Remo D’ Souza wanted to take the film into a much darker space, Salman Khan wanted the film to be family-friendly and asked the director to tone down the content a bit. The film is all set to release on the 15th of June, 2018.
