OUT NOW: The teaser of Akshay Kumar’s Gold!

After a long wait, the teaser of Akshay Kumar-starrer Gold is OUT! The teaser gives a small glimpse of the story and Akshay Kumar’s journey on winning Gold for India.

Gold marks to be the first association between Akshay Kumar and Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

Gold is inspired by true events and is about India’s first Olympic medal win as a free nation in the year 1948 at Games of the XIV Olympiad, London.

Staying true to the genre of the film, the newly announced film is to release on Independence Day, 2018. The film also stars Amit Sadh, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Singh, Sunny Kaushal. Television beauty Mouni Roy is also going to make her big Bollywood debut with Gold. The teaser shows a slight glimpse of Mouni in a retro avatar.

Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner name Excel Entertainment, the film is directed by Reema Kagti and will hit the theatres on 15th August 2018.

On the work front, Akshay is lined up with some good movies like Pad Man, 2.0, Karan Johar’s Kesari and Housefull 4.
