The acceptance of the digital platform for the purpose of content consumption has seen quite a rise in the past few years in India. Well, it’s not just the budding actors, but also many Bollywood stars who ventured into this platform to try and see how they fit into it.
While the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bhumi Pednekar and Manisha Koirala have already debuted onto the platform, Emraan Hashmi will be seen following suit as he is all set to essay the lead character in yet another Indian Netflix original series, titled Bard Of Blood, which is going to be co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s production house, Red Chillies Entertainment.
Now, among all the actors joining the bandwagon, will Shraddha Kapoor be next? However, there is no news of the actress signing for any web series, but when asked about it she said, “I was offered a web series, too, but it didn’t work out. We had begun talks but after a point, there wasn’t any discussion.”
The actress even expressed her keenness to work in a web series as she added that, “Of course, I’d love to do something in the digital space, but it has to be a solid script. Today, content is the king and so many new avenues have opened up. If I’m offered something great, I would happily do it. But currently, I’m busy with films.”
We would LOVE you see you try your hands at the digital space mighty soon, Shraddha!
Meanwhile, Shraddha will be next seen in the horror-comedy Stree, opposite Rajkummar Rao, which is slated to release on 31st August.
Stick to this space for more of Bollywood!
