When Salman Khan EARNED his fathers’ respect!

No matter what we say about Salman Khan based on all the news that he has made over the course of time, there is no denying in the fact that somewhere, the Sultan star has always had a soft corner for people, and this old interview with Salman’s father, veteran screenwriter Salim Khan is the proof of that.

In an interview, while talking about his superstar son, he said, “Salman earned my respect when he took the beating that should have been Arbaaz’s. I had repeatedly warned them not to touch the car and one day I came home to find it bashed up. Salman really got it that day but he took it without a murmur. The next day I discovered that it was Arbaaz who’d banged the car.”

Adding to this, he said, “There’s a lot of compassion in Salman. He has always helped others. Our sweeper’s son, whom he used to play with in the compound, recently opened a video shop and asked Salman to open it. He went willingly and even stayed for the party, said a few words and danced. Ask him to go on stage and he’ll baulk, he’s a little shy and that inhibits him.”

Well, this story coming from Salman’s initial days, we can definitely say that there is a human side to the man behind “Being Human”
