When Hrithik Roshan TURNED DOWN an SLB film!

As many would remember, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Hrithik Roshan had first collaborated for a beautifully crafted film called Guzaarish which had seen the light of day in 2010. The film in question also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Swara Bhasker. Although the film was lauded by critics, it did not really spark up the box office in the way Bhansali perhaps expected it to.

And now. Fast forward to today, where with the releases of epic period pieces like Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and his most recent release, Padmaavat, Bhansali has rebranded himself as a force to reckon with in the film business. And now, we hear that the master craftsman was looking at collaborating with Hrithik yet again for a film, which is a remake of the Telegu film Pulimurugan. The film in question starred Mohanlal as a warrior-hunter who is hell-bent on saving his village people from becoming a part of the diet of man-eating leopards.

Speaking about the same, a source was quoted saying that, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted Hrithik Roshan to play the role and even approached him for the film. However, the actor rejected the same and hasn’t even given any reason for it. So now, Bhansali is on a lookout for another actor who can play the role!”

Well, now we want to see as to who will step into the shoes of Mohanlal.
