Varun Dhawan, to star in Biwi No. 1 remake? David Dhawan responds

Recently we broke the news that after Judwaa 2 Varun Dhawan might again step into the shoes of Salman Khan for Biwi No. 1. This news broke like fire as the fans were excited to again see the father-son combination on the big screen. But looks like this is not happening anytime soon as David Dhawan has reacted on the same saying that there are no such plans.

The director to an entertainment website said “Good that people are speculating about what we will do next. We haven’t thought about remaking Biwi No. 1 as of yet. Right now, we’re in the holiday mood. Let the new year begin and then we’ll think of what to do next. I know it is a convenient formula to do remakes and sequels. But we may surprise everyone by doing an entirely original film this time.”

Well, it’s nice that the Dhawan’s are thinking of an original content.

On the other hand, Varun is lined up with projects like October by Shoojit Sircar and Sui Dhaaga alongside Anushka Sharma in the lead.
