Sometime around the end of this year, we are going to see some of the biggest Bollywood releases that moviegoers have ever witnessed till date. One of which is Aanand L Rai’s Zero, a film which will see the Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio, Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in a kind of space that one would have probably never imagined them in. On the other hand, there’s Yash Raj Films’ magnum opus, Thugs Of Hindostan. Thugs will see Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan share the same frame for the first time ever and has Fatima Sana Shaikh of Dangal fame and Katrina Kaif essaying the central female protagonists. It’s interesting to see out dear Kat in two of the biggest and baddest Bollywood releases till date, right?
While speaking about one of those releases, Zero, Katrina Kaif, during an interview on the sidelines of the recently-concluded Dabangg Reloaded tour, said that, “Working with Aanand Rai, I can’t explain to you as an actor how satisfying it was. He has a way of helping you find your character which is unbelievable. Teaming up with Shah Rukh after Jab Tak Hai Jaan, it was just incredibly fulfilling. The vision that they have for the film is so unique, amazing.”
While speaking about working with Shah Rukh Khan again, he said that, “Me and Shah Rukh get each other’s aesthetics that is the best thing. He gets what I am doing and appreciates what I am doing. That’s really important. Shah Rukh has a lot of faith and belief in my photography skills and that makes me an even better photographer.”
These words by Katrina have upped our excitement for the upcoming Aanand L Rai directorial. Has it upped yours?
