Lohri, the cheerful festival of Punjabi’s is also known as the Harvest festival which brings good luck, happiness, and prosperity in lives of all. People of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and other states of North India celebrate the festival with great grandeur. On the celebration day, people gather around the bonfire and throw sweets, popcorns and puffed rice in the flame. Also, people move around the fire and sing songs.
