Team Raees and fans celebrate 1 Year of Raees on social media!

We simply cannot believe that one of Shah Rukh Khan’s then much-awaited action thriller, Raess has already COMPLETED a year today. To many of us, it still feels like the flick had just released yesterday.

So, on this momentous occasion, the entire team of Raees and fans celebrated the first year anniversary of the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer thriller.

Raees, which was one of the top-grossing films of 2017, also had Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles. The flick, along with setting the box office on fire along with Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil, also earned a lot of accolades for its lead cast.

Set during the times of the 60’s and the 80’s of Gujarat, the film showcased Khan as an alcohol-peddling bootlegger

As the film clocks a year today, the cast and crew took to Twitter to celebrate the anniversary of the film.

Mahira Khan, for whom Raees was her Bollywood debut film, tweeted out:

Director Rahul Dholakia also expressed his emotions on the one-year anniversary by saying:

Expressing his gratitude towards the cast and crew of the film, Dholakia added:

Excel Entertainment, who co-produced the film along with Red Chillies Entertainment, celebrated the one-year milestone by tweeting:

Fans were overjoyed to celebrate the film’s one year anniversary, so much so that the trend ‘1 YEAR OF RAEES’ had been trending throughout the day on Twitter.
