SOTY 2: Are Sidharth Malhotra & Varun Dhawan JUDGING Tiger Shroff?

When you make a film that garners a cult following for itself, such as Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year, expectations from its sequel are naturally pretty high, and Student Of The Year 2, the film which stars Tiger Shroff and is a launch pad for Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria, is definitely one of those.

But now, if recent reports are to be believed, movie buffs, especially fans of the original students Sidharth Malhotra and Varun Dhawan, have a yet another reason to be excited about the second installment of the franchise!

Yes, you know where we are going with this! Reportedly, the students from the previous batch of St. Theresa, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra will return to their beloved college for a special appearance, but this time around, allegedly as the judges of a talent competition which, goes without saying, Shroff Jr. and the two debutantes will be a part of.

Now, wouldn’t that be a nice tinge of nostalgia for those who, just like us, simply fell in love with the first film? However, we have no idea whether Shanaya aka Alia Bhatt will be seen joining the duo or otherwise. If this piece of news is to be believed and Alia doesn’t end up joining the duo in the sequel, we feel that the whole sequence in question would rather feel incomplete. How can you bring back the memories of the first film without Alia? IMPOSSIBLE!
