After a long wait, the release of Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, and Shahid Kapoor’s Padmavat has been announced. The film will hit the screens on 25th January. This has now led to the delay of Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee’s espionage thriller Aiyaary.
According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the release date of the film has been shifted to 9th February 2018.
Check out the tweet:
It’s OFFICIAL… #Aiyaary shifted to 9 Feb 2018… Neeraj Pandey directs… Stars Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Rakul Preet Singh, Pooja Chopra, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher.

With this, Aiyaary will now clash with Anushka Sharma’s Pari. Both the films are content driven and it will be interesting to see which films will win at the box office.
Aiyaary is a real-life story revolving around the relationship between a mentor and a protege. The film stars Sidharth, Anupam Kher, Rakul Preet and Manoj Bajpayee in pivotal roles.
Coming to Padmavat, the film is based on the legend of Rani Padmini, a Hindu Rajput queen mentioned in Padmavat, an Avadhi poem written by Sufi poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540. The film has been facing protests from various groups, mainly Rajput Karni Sena, for allegedly tampering with historical facts.
