Shah Rukh Khan’s latest initiative will make you SALUTE him!
Not only Salman Khan, even Shah Rukh Khan is involved in the welfare and betterment of the needy and the helpless. His latest initiative will make you want to salute him and respect him even more. His Meer Foundation has undertaken the responsibility for the acid attack victims. Along with the Atijeevan Foundation and New Hope Hospital, they have planned to organize a plastic surgery camp followed by an eye surgery camp. The foundation is also involved in multiple initiatives for the empowerment of women.
As far as the aforementioned camps are concerned, the surgeries were conducted on the 15th of July, i.e. yesterday. Talking about the Meer Foundation, Venky Mysore, the CEO of Red Chillies, stated, “We at Meer Foundation have always been striving to provide a helping hand to the strong acid attack survivors. Through our journey over the years, we have tried to make a difference to empower the women who have faced the traumatic experience in their lives.”
