Sanju is not only Ranbir Kapoor’s biggest blockbuster of all time, but is also set to surpass the collections of many of Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan’s films. Now, as said before, it is humanly impossible to cover every aspect of Sanjay Dutt’s life in just one film. And looking at the success the film has generated, writer Abhijat Joshi and director Rajkumar Hirani are planning to take Dutt’s story ahead.
In an interview, Hirani said that they had over 750 pages of information that they noted down after multiple interactions with Sanjay Dutt, and what we saw in the film was just 150 of those pages. It seems the makers are really keen to show the remaining aspects of the actor’s life as they could only cover his drug phase and the 1993 Bombay Blasts in the first film.
