Sanjay Dutt delays his comeback for a friend

Sanjay Dutt proved how he is one of the sweetest superstars in Bollywood by delaying Bhoomi for Aamir Khan. We’ve seen how box office clashes are always a nasty affair, no matter how cool actors act in front of the media. Look at how this phenomenon affected two superstars this January (ahem, remember the Raees-Kaabil clash?). But Sanjay Dutt decided to take the high road and delayed his film, Bhoomi’s release for Aamir Khan’s Secret Superstar!

Knowing that Aamir Khan’s next, (Secret) Superstar is all set for an August release, veteran actor Sanjay Dutt has planned to delay his comeback revenge drama Bhoomi.

On this topic, the actor says “I know the kind of hard work and effort that goes into making a film. I believe, after all the work being put in, it can’t be reduced to a clash at the box-office. Aamir is a dear friend and I wouldn’t want my comeback film to be pitted against his. In this industry, we should all make an effort to help each other.”

Knowing that the Aamir Khan starrer is not exactly a Masala film and does rely on quality content (The kind of choice a few in the industry make), a box office clash would hit the 52-year-old hard.
