Saif Ali Khan is the latest celebrity to react on the latest threats by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena(MNS) to ban Pakistani artists in India, in the wake of the Uri Attacks.
During the GQ Men of the Year Awards, when the actor was asked about his thoughts on the controversy, he said, “This (cross-cultural exchange) should definitely be encouraged. The industry is open to world talent, especially from across the border. But the government has to decide these things.”
He added, “We are artists and we will talk about love and peace. But the government has to take such decisions about law and who to allow to work here and who isn’t.”
Just like brother-in-law Ranbir Kapoor, even Saif chose to give a diplomatic answer and play it safe.
