Revealed: Ranveer to play a slum dweller in Zoya’s next

There has been a constant buzz that Ranveer Singh will be soon working with his ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ director Zoya Akhtar and now we hear that in their upcoming venture, Ranveer will be seen playing the role of a rapper hailing from the slums.

A source reveals, “Ranveer will play a rapper from Dharavi, Mumbai and will begin shooting for Zoya’s film after the release of ‘Befikre’.”

Reportedly there will be another actor also cast in the film who would be playing a parallel role to Ranveer.

It would be interesting to see whether Ranveer would start Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ first or Zoya’s film.
