REVEALED: Akshay Kumar’s look from Gold!

Khiladi Kumar is all set to begin his upcoming historical sports drama titled, Gold. Akshay Kumar who was currently busy with the promotion of Toilet -Ek Prem Katha has taken off to London and has started prepping for Gold. Akshay Kumar shared the first look from the film on Twitter. He wrote, “Set out on a brand new journey, aiming for nothing less than #GOLD! Day 1 of Gold, need your love and best wishes as always :)”

The first look features Akshay in a retro look wearing a suit and sporting a thin moustache.

Gold is based on the life of Balbir Singh. It will showcase the journey of India winning its 1st gold medal as a free nation at the Olympics, 1948.

Gold marks the first association between the Rustom star and Excel Entertainment led by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar.

The film is to be directed by Reema Kagti and marks the Bollywood debut of actress Mouni Roy opposite Akshay Kumar.
