“Ranbir Kapoor is god-gifted”, says megastar Amitabh Bachchan!

Ranbir Kapoor’s career may be suffering from a severe drought, but it’s definitely not in shambles. His upcoming film, Sanju, a biographical account of the roller-coaster life of film-star, Sanjay Dutt, had its teaser released on the 24th of April, and took the social media by a storm. Those expected memes and jibes aside, this really promises to be the one film that could resurrect Ranbir’s decaying graph. Not only were the online users, the people from the film industry also blown away by the actor’s uncanny resemblance to Sanjay Dutt’s physicality.

It’s being reported that one of the first few people to see the first look of Sanju was the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan, and he too was BLOWN away by the actor’s commitment to the role. All set to collaborate with the Barfi actor in the super-hero flick, Brahmastra and his father, Rishi Kapoor, for 102 Not Out, Big B was recently asked about Ranbir and this is what he had to say, “I haven’t shot with Ranbir yet for Brahmastra. But, I’ve worked with him when he was an AD (assistant director) on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black (2005). He was the one who trained the little girl Ayesha Kapur (she played a differently-abled child). In between shots, I’d see him train her; it was impressive. Ranbir is an exceptional artiste. He doesn’t do anything, yet he does a lot. I keep telling him that he’s God-gifted. I’m his admirer. I am happy that I’ve got an opportunity to work with both father and son in the same year, it’s a blessing for me.”

On the work-front, Mr. Bachchan is all geared up for the release of 102 Not Out, which will be out on the 4th of May. After this comedy, he’ll be seen in the action-packed adventure drama, Thugs Of Hindostan, which is scheduled for a Diwali release, i.e. 7th of November. The one film to look out for, as stated above, will be the super-hero movie, Brahmastra, which will be made in three parts, out of which, the first part comes out on the 15th of August, 2019.
