“Priyanka Chopra is the right choice for my biopic” – Mithali Raj

Post the success of Sanju, A biopic on the Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt which starred Ranbir Kapoor Bollywood seems to be bitten by the biopic bug. There were rumors that filmmakers want to make a biopic on comedian Kapil Sharma too.

A biopic on the life of on the Indian Women’s cricket team player Mithali Raj has been in the talks for a long time now. Now in an interview with a leading daily Mithali confirmed that a biopic on her life is in the making. She also named the actress who would be the perfect fit to play the role and that is none other than Priyanka Chopra.

“Our personalities match a lot. However, I am not a movie buff, so I would love the experts to do their job,” Mithali added.

Priyanka Chopra has previously acted in a biopic which was on the life of the Indian boxer Mary Kom.

Talking about biopic’s this Friday will see the release of Soorma a biopic on the life of ace hockey player Sandeep Singh which stars Diljit Dosanjh, Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi.
