Given the rising tension between India and Pakistan, Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has asked Pakistani actors such as Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan to leave India within 48 hours, failing which, they will be ‘pushed out’.
MNS leader Amey Khopkar, chief of the MNS’s cinema workers’ unit Chitrapat Karamchari Sena, informed a news agency, “We give a 48-hour deadline to Pakistani actors and artistes to leave India, or MNS will push them out.”
He added, “Pakistani artistes will get beaten up. Along with them, we will also beat up whichever producer or director is with them.”
The said political party has also declared that they won’t let Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ that stars Fawad Khan and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ that stars Mahira Khan, release in Maharashtra.
“We won’t let ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ & ‘Raees’ release as it has Pakistani actors,” MNS added.
