Phir Hera Pheri director down with a brain stroke, but where was the ambulance?

Eminent director Neeraj Vora, the one who visualised the hit Phir Hera Pheri from the eye-ball view of the audience, was hurriedly admitted to the eminent Ram Monohar Lohia Hospital, Delhi, in October. After feeling seriously ill, his condition surfaced to be a brain stroke.

As per the witnesses, the director was riding along with his dear friend, Paresh Rawal. Neeraj Vora shared how he hasn’t been feeling well for quite some time and had faced frequent episodes of numbness. He soon felt his condition deteriorating drastically and requested for an ambulance, which never turned up.

Struck by the fear of things getting out of hand, the driver took charge of the steering wheel and rushed him to the hospital. There, the doctor stated that he had suffered a brain injury, and suggested AIIMS for further treatment. By the time they got there, the situation had worsened.

Rumors of the director being deserted by family and the film fraternity have been deemed as completely untrue. The facts state that he lost his wife in 2004, and then his mother soon after that. Neeraj Vora has no children.

Fast forward to the present, the 51-year old responds to calls/taps by opening a single eye, which is a glimmer of hope for all well wishers. Doctors report that his recovery is going to be a slow, and hopefully steady, process.

All things said and done, we wish the director the best from our end for his health.
