PHEW! Aiyaary FINALLY gets a Censor Certificate! 

The tussle between Neeraj Pandey’s upcoming espionage thriller, Aiyaary and the Central Board Of Film Certification is known to one and all. In fact, we almost thought that the film might run into some serious trouble as the censor board asked the makers for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry Of Defence for a smooth release of the film.

And now, after what seems like a super- prolonged delay of failing to get a clearance for the release, team Aiyaary has finally received its Censor Certificate just a few hours ago as of this writing.

Director Neeraj Pandey took to Twitter to breathe a sigh of relief as he posted of the picture of the censor certificate that is dated 6th of February 2018.

The approval comes after the team put in weeks so that the censor certificate could be obtained.

Post review of the film by the CBFC, Neeraj Pandey’s Aiyaary had held a screening of their film for the Ministry of Defense on Saturday evening as instructed by the CBFC.

The screening resulted in prescribed modifications to the film, providing which, Aiyaary has finally received its censor certification and a clearance for release as of yesterday.

Neeraj Pandey took to Twitter sharing, “Finally… this just arrived. All cleared for #AiyaaryOnFeb16 now! Thank you #CBFCIndia. Thank you MOD. See you on Feb 16 in cinemas near you!”.

In a formal announcement, Aiyaary’s Official handle tweeted, “Thank you #CBFCIndia! Thank you M.O.D! The final countdown for #AiyaaryOnFeb16 begins now! ”

Celebrating the approval, Manoj Bajpayee wrote, “That’s a green light for #AiyaaryOnFeb16 with no more pit stops along the way! Thank you #CBFCIndia and MOD “.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh expressed, “And It’s a smooth road ahead to #AiyaaryOnFeb16! Thank you #CBFCIndia and MOD”

Set against the backdrop of Army, Aiyaary faced trouble from the CBFC and has finally received clearance from the body post a screening and nod from the Defense Ministry.

The trailer showcased Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee playing the roles of army officers over a storyline that brings to the forefront corruption within the system.

Aiyaary is touted to be an espionage thriller, backed by a crisp and an intriguing storyline, which is something we have now grown to expect from Neeraj Pandey.
