Paresh Rawal: Ranbir Kapoor has a talent that is unique

Ranbir Kapoor time and time again has proven that he is all about living up to the Kapoor legacy by paying utmost attention to their craft of acting. His sheer dedication to his work has helped him gain a massive fan following throughout his 10-year-long career. (Yes! It has been that long since his entry into the film industry. We are feeling a little bit old now)

Coming back to present day, where it is known by all that RK Jr. is shooting for the upcoming Sanjay Dutt biopic which will see Ranbir portray Dutt, a character he is fully invested in. Seems like his dedication to play Sanju Baba’s character with unparalleled authenticity has gained him a yet another admirer and it’s none other than veteran actor Paresh Rawal, who will be seen playing Ranbir’s on-screen father, the late actor Sunil Dutt.

Speaking with total admiration for the actor, Paresh Rawal said “Ranbir has a talent that is unique. He is simply superb, among the finest in our country. His dedication towards his work is amazing. I have become a big admirer and I don’t think anyone could have played the part better

Interestingly, Paresh Rawal has done many films with Sanjay, but met his father only a couple of times.

Speaking about the challenges of playing Sunil Dutt, he added “I only met Sunilji a couple of times and interacted with him briefly during the 1993 Mumbai riots. But, I am aware that he was a fine human being. I’ve got a detailed script that has been written by Abhijat Joshi and Raju (Hirani). It’s a huge challenge to play the character. I hope to do a good job.”

Paresh will be seen next in Guest iin London opposite young talents Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Kharbanda, while Ranbir Kapoor will be soon seen in his much-delayed film Jagga Jasoos on July 14th
