Kareena will not be a part of Saif’s next

Rumours were rife that Bollywood’s favourite couple, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen romancing again on the silver screen for Raja Krishna Menon’s next titled Chef.

Chef is a remake of the 2014 Hollywood comedy film ‘Chef’ starring Jon Favreau in the main lead. Raja Krishna Menon’s Chef will have Saif in the main lead but nothing was revealed about the leading lady of the film.

But, as Kareena flew to London along with Saif, rumours started to surface on every tabloid about Kareena’s special appearance in Saif’s next! And everyone was quite excited to watch the duo on the silver screen.

However, director Menon has now dismissed these rumours and said, “Where do they get such false information from? Kareena Kapoor Khan doesn’t have any role to play in Chef”

He further revealed the name of the leading lady saying, “Padmapriya plays Saif’s ex-wife”

Padmapriya is a well-known actress in the South and was seen in a Bollywood film in 2010, titled ‘Striker’.

With the director’s confirmation, we’re sure that Kareena is not a part of the film. But let’s hope that the couple plans on doing a movie together very soon!
