Varun Dhawan could be the next actor to abridge the north-south divide. How? Well, there are reports he’s all set to star in South Indian filmmaker Sukumar’s next film. The idea has intrigued the actor and he has reportedly given his nod but no official confirmation has been made yet.
A source says, “Varun and Sukumar have already met and have finished a preliminary round of discussions. Though as of not it is unclear whether the said film will be a remake of a south film or a totally new one, it is certain that Zee Entertainment will be backing the venture.” But this union of the two states isn’t new. In recent times, it all started with AR Murugadoss directing Aamir Khan’s Ghajini, Prabhu Dheva helming Salman Khan’s Wanted. Not only that, a lot of actors, both male and female, have acted down south and their actors have forayed into the Hindi language.
On the work-front, Varun has Sui Dhaaga, Kalank, an untitled dance film with Katrina Kaif and Rannbhoomi lined-up.
