Is Ranbir Kapoor causing problems for Ajay Devgn & Luv Ranjan?

Post the stupendous success of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, its director Luv Ranjan excited his fans beyond limits that his next directorial venture is going to bring back Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn together after nearly a decade after their first film together, Rajneeti hit theatres. The flick is said to be a hard-hitting father-son drama, which is very unlike a Luv Ranjan film, but the two stars are very much on board as they have expressed their fondness for the script.

But, it seems like Rajkumar Hirani’s latest release, Sanju, has caused a bit of a trouble for Luv and, if online reports are to be believed, even Housefull 4 director Sajid Khan!

A source was quoted online saying that, “The blockbuster success of Raj Kumar Hirani’s Sanju created problems for two people – Luv Ranjan and Sajid Khan, the director of Housefull 4. Sanjay Dutt left Housefull 4 as his brand value has increased tremendously after Sanju, which has cross Rs. 316 crore already. Nobody, including Ranbir, thought it would be such a huge hit so apparently the issue for Luv Ranjan’s film is now about profit-sharing as everything changed after Sanju. Sanju has taken a bigger opening than Race 3 on a non-holiday and from that time there’s talk that Ranbir wants a bigger share of the profits. He wants to restructure the pay package. The movie doesn’t have a producer/ studio right now but it’s a hot cake proposal and anybody will produce it.”

Well, we totally agree with the last statement there! Additionally, if the very online report where the source was quoted is to be believed, prior to the release of Sanju, Ranbir had decided to take home a 40 percent share of the profits. But now, in the post-Sanju era, it is being said that Luv has asked Ranbir to walk back home with a whopping sum of 60 percent.

Looks like after roaring like a Tiger at ticket counters across the globe with the help of the Rajkumar Hirani directorial, Ranbir is keen on taking the lion’s share in the profits of every film he will do henceforth.
