Is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan opting for surrogacy?

One of the very first people who put Bollywood on the global map before anyone else, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been witnessed taking really bold decisions as far as her movie choices are concerned, and her last outing, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, is a solid proof of that.

After that, Bollywood is well aware that she jumped onto the Fanney Khan bandwagon and even gave a nod to the remake of the classic Nargis Dutt-starrer Rat Aur Din, for which, she will be charging a humongous price of Rs. 10 crores.

Speaking of her bold choices of films, we now hear that she might just opt for a very unusual topic, which is, you guessed it, surrogacy.

Are your minds running wild with speculations? Well, before you assume anything further, let us clear the air for you.

As per reports, Aishwarya might just be seen playing a surrogate mother in KriArj Entertainment’s forthcoming venture, Jasmine.

Jasmine is reportedly inspired by the true life events of a Gujarat based woman, who, although doesn’t really like kids, agrees to be the surrogate mother for a couple. But in the meantime, she gets attached to the baby to the extent that she actually wants it back!

And, in order to play this strong author-backed female protagonist role, Prernaa Arora has been toying with the idea of having Ash on board. Speaking about it, she said, “We would love to have her but it will depend on her dates,”

Now, wouldn’t that be exciting or what?

But originally, this film was supposed to be helmed by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet: Ek Prem Katha fame. But, there has been a change of plans.

Speaking about as to why isn’t this project being helmed by the man, Prernaa Arora said, “That’s why we are launching two new directors. We will still have him as editor and co-producer,”

Well, let’s wait and see how things pan out.
