Irrfan Khan’s stream of big Hollywood movies has made him India’s biggest acting export right now (alongside Priyanka Chopra of course). With roles in both Indies and blockbusters, he has turned into one of the most in-demand working actors. However, the actor feels doing films in the West has been an added advantage yet his home is where his heart belongs to.
“My people are here (India) and so are my stories. Today, small and unconventional films are redefining cinema in India and I’m happy to be part of this brave and new world. Hollywood is just a bonus,” says Irrfan, who will soon share screen space with legendary Hollywood actor Tom Hanks in the upcoming Hollywood film ‘Inferno’.
Irrfan also revealed that he he has got plenty of opportunities to relocate to the US, but he doesn’t wish to do so. “I keep getting interesting offers. If I was younger, I might have thought of relocating to a different country but I never really felt like leaving India,” he added.
