We have often heard stories of popular celebrities throwing what is considered to be “starry tantrums” every once in a while. Although we do not know how much truth there is to all of them, we are of the opinion that every now and then, these celebrities, as humans, are allowed to be lazy from time to time.
But guess the popularity and stardom that one receives could also possibly come in the way of one’s career, if we must draw an inference on the latest developments in the life of the real ‘Dangal” girls Geeta and Babita Phogat and their two other siblings.
It so happened that the Wrestling Federation Of India (WFI) who are allegedly tired of the sisters’ “tantrums and indiscipline” have dropped the names of all the Phogat sisters (Geeta, Babita, Ritu and Sangeeta” from the list of athletes who were training in the national camp for the Asian Games. Which means that ultimately, they will be unable to represent India at the Jakarta Palembang Games that were supposed to be held in Indonesia in August-September later this year.
Now, we aren’t exactly blaming the Aamir Khan-starrer sports biographical drama, Dangal for this, but it’s an undeniable fact that the film did help the Phogat sisters in getting their long overdue appreciation and stardom. So, it may not be entirely implausible that their new-found stardom might be making them a little bit lazy, right?
