FIRST LOOK: Rishi Kapoor & Taapsee Pannu look fierce in Mulk
Courtroom drama is one genre that never ceases to excite and engage the filmmakers and the audiences alike. Right from Damini to Aitraaz to Jolly LLB 1 & 2 to Pink, all are embedded in our memories. Now, Hindi Cinema is coming with one more courtroom drama, titled Mulk.
Mulk is directed by Anubhav Sinha, the man behind Ra.One and the Tum Bin films, and has a stellar cast of Rishi Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Neena Gupta and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The one thing that makes the film exciting is to see Taapsee don the role of a lawyer, fighting for the rights of a victim. Given the actor was herself the victim of sexual oppression in Pink; it shall be intriguing to witness how she portrays this role. Also starring Prateik Babbar, Rajat Kapoor and Manoj Pahwa, Mulk is all set to release on the 27th of July, 2018.
