First Look: The Accidental Prime Minister starring Anupam Kher

Actor Anupam Kher will be seen portraying the role of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in his upcoming flick named The Accidental Prime Minister.

Anupam shared the first poster on his Twitter handle and captioned it as “To reinvent yourself as an actor is to challenge yourself. Looking forward to portraying #DrManmohanSingh in #TheAccidentalPrimeMinister.:)”

The poster showcases Anupam in a turban, beard, and glasses, portraying an uncanny similarity to Dr. Manmohan Singh. The poster even has a shadow of Congress President Sonia Gandhi as well.

Directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte the film is based on the book The Accidental Prime Minister: The Making And Unmaking of Manmohan Singh written by Sanjaya Baru. The film will be in theaters next year.

Anupam will be next seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. The film is directed by Shree Narayan Singh and will release on 11th August.
