Farhan Akhtar lashes out at the Petrol hike, and rightly so!

On one hand, there is Akshay Kumar, who deleted his tweet on the petrol hike and expectedly sparkled a major controversy and tons of flaks. He, however, didn’t delete the tweet of 16th of May, 2011, with reasons best known to him. In case you haven’t seen his tweets, have a look right here:-

Finally, we get Farhan Akhtar, and we are relieved there’s finally someone from the industry who has a sensible and scathing take on the petrol hike. He took to his Twitter account and said something that we all ought to read and understand, check it out right here:-

Actual cost I believe is ₹31, based on info i could find online (do correct me if I’m wrong, happy to learn) .. the rest are central & state taxes, cess & commissions. Just so you know that the price can be brought down.

We really admire the fearlessness with which the Rock On! star has spoken about the concerning topic, unlike most of the other people in Tinsel Town, who still haven’t mustered up the courage to speak up against the government. All we can see is everyone heaping false praises to stay in BJP’s good books as everyone wants to stay away from unnecessary controversies. We are glad someone finally spoke up!
