Dhadak star Janhvi Kapoor simply LOVES this SRK film!

Janhvi Kapoor is awaiting the release of her Bollywood debut flick, Dhadak. The film, which is an official adaptation of the Marathi blockbuster, Sairat, is about to see the light of day coming Friday. So, given that the release of a film is so close, it is only natural to see its lead actors and crew members promoting their upcoming release left, right and center. And, in the process, the stars tend to reveal a couple of such details about themselves that makes us more curious about what that person is like.

And, as one would expect, Janhvi is no exception to that! In an interview with a leading daily, she has revealed that the movie bug has been in her for as long as she can remember (DUH! She’s the daughter of an eminent producer!), and, one Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Bollywood film, in particular, has totally won her over!

Speaking about her the way movies and especially the SRK-starrer Om Shanti Om has inspired her, she said that, “I always wanted to see myself on screen. I remember I would watch random movies and was obsessed with ‘Om Shanti Om’. I would enact every scene from the film and force Khushi to be Shah Rukh Khan and I’d be Deepika, doing that typical hand wave.”

Speaking about her Hollywood influences, she said that, “Even with the film ‘Titanic’, Khushi would be Jack and I’d be Rose and we would say those lines to each other, ‘I’d never let go!”

Speaking about how the affection for films have shaped the various characters in her family, she said that, “Even in real life, we are dramatic and filmy. Everything is life and death, the stakes are always high. The filmiest person in our family is my father. He is the most dramatic, about anything and everything. Our lives revolve around cinema, it is all movies.”

Janhvi Kapoor, you have the REAL Bollywood ka keeda! All the very best for your debut film!
