Cuteness alert! Varun and Alia in Badrinath Ki Dulhania’s first look

Those who loved the 2014 romcom ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ would be delighted to learn that work is already in progress for the second film of the franchise, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’. Dharma Productions has just released the first look of the film and we love it! Producer Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the film’s first look, which also features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead.

Shashank Khaitan, who made his directorial debut with ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ is also directing its sequel and the team is presently shooting for the film in Singapore. Parts of the film have also been shot in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The second film will be set in a completely new world. The film is reportedly a dark love story, where Varun plays Badrinath, a young man from Jhansi who falls in love with Vaidehi, essayed by Alia. Varun Dhawan also shared a still from the sets of the film on Twitter.

‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania,’ also starring Gauhar Khan is slated to release on 10th March 2017.
