CBFC just reviewed Baahubali 2 and we CAN’T KEEP CALM!

No one had got to see this year’s biggest movie, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion yet. But, as always, CBFC has had that privilege. And it’s perhaps the first time in a long while that the censor board hasn’t recommended even a single edit to the magnum opus. Speaking modestly, the censor board officials were left awestruck after what they saw in the editing room.

Here’s what the prominent CBFC official had to say about the movie “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is in every sense bigger than the first part of the film. The second part is longer than the first and is almost three hours. But not a moment sits heavily on the narrative. We haven’t cut a single frame, shot, or a word from the dialogue. There was not a single moment that we could eliminate. The action sequences are this time shot far more intricately and the special effects, especially in the war scenes are on par with what we’ve seen in the best Hollywood war epics from Richard Attenborough’s A Bridge Too Far to Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge.”

One the topic of the main attraction of the movie, the intense battle sequences between Prabhas and Rana, the CBFC official added that they are “heart-stopping…the two of them are like restless lions in a cage ready to pounce, but something keeps them from tearing apart each other, I can’t reveal what. Both the actors are equally impressive this time.”

It is impossible to speak about Baahubali 2 and not speak about the cliffhanger from the prequel which left us with the million dollar question: Why did Kattapa kill Baahubali? on which he commented that it will leave the audience “stunned and disbelieving”

The censor board representative concluded his review by saying that “The stunts, the spectacle, and the performances are superior to Fast & Furious 8. Audiences will come away very happy, but also very sad. This can’t be the end of the Baahubali saga!”

Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is less than 24 hours away from its release. We are just too impatient here.
