Box Office: Dhadak stays ROCK STEADY on Day 8!

Shashank Khaitan’s latest directorial venture, Dhadak, a film which brought the much-hyped pair of Ishaan Khatter and Janhvi Kapoor for the first time ever to the screens, saw the light of day on the 20th of this month. The romantic comedy/drama, which is an adaptation of the Marathi blockbuster Sairat, has been garnering a lot of love and appreciation from cine-goers even though the critics have divided views on it. The film had a near-clear release during the weekend it hit the screens, but we were waiting to see as to how it would exactly fair on its second Friday when the Dharma production was destined to lock horns with the Tom Cruise & Henry Cavill-starrer Mission Impossible: Fallout.

If you were wondering about the very same thing, here’s an answer to your question. And, we must say that despite facing a stiff competition from this week’s Hollywood release, the film has collected an impressive amount of cash on its second Friday.
